After a bumpy start to the season, Boulder finally found its rhythm—and they made sure Westtown felt every bit of it. Behind an offensive outburst and a pair of sharp pitching performances, the Panthers cruised to a 12-2 victory on Wednesday, notching their first win of the season in emphatic fashion.
Right-hander Sam Skubic set the tone early, working two scoreless innings and scattering a pair of hits without allowing a run. It's just the latest in a string of reliable outings for Skubic, who hasn't allowed more than one earned run in his last three appearances. He also helped his own cause at the plate, going 2-for-3 and coming around to score.

Bennett Levinson took over on the mound and picked up right where Skubic left off. The junior tossed three innings of steady work, surrendering just one earned run on two hits. Levinson has quietly put together a streak of four straight games allowing two hits or fewer.
Offensively, Boulder broke things wide open with big contributions up and down the lineup. Finn Torvik delivered the loudest swing of the day, lacing his first hit of the season—a triple that drove in two runs. He also came around to score. Gavin Nguyen chipped in with a 1-for-2 day and crossed the plate twice.

The win moves Boulder to 1-4, while Westtown drops to 1-1 following the lopsided loss.
Next up, the Panthers will try to keep the bats hot as they face a tough John Carroll Catholic March 27th at 2:00 PM. The Patriots' pitching staff has held opponents to just 3.7 runs per game, so Boulder's hitters will need to stay locked in.
