On a crisp and partly sunny Saturday afternoon, the Boulder High School Panthers battled through a tight pitching duel against the Centaurus High School Warriors, narrowly falling 1-0.
Panthers starter Connor Bagnall delivered a gutsy performance, pitching five strong innings while allowing just one earned run on six hits, striking out two batters and walking two. Bagnall consistently challenged Centaurus hitters, keeping Boulder in contention throughout the game. Relief pitcher Bennett Levinson entered in the sixth inning and effectively shut down Centaurus, providing the Panthers with a crucial inning of scoreless relief.

Despite making solid contact at the plate, the Panthers couldn't find a way to break through Centaurus' resilient defense, which consistently halted potential scoring opportunities. Boulder's own defense showcased outstanding focus, backing up the pitching staff and keeping the game within reach down to the final out.
