Boulder High Varsity Field Hockey earned a hard fought 1-0 win over Dakota Ridge on Monday at Rocky Mountain Deaf School, bringing their record to 4-3-1 and solidifying their spot as the 10th-ranked team in 5A.

After a even start throughout the first quarter, the game's lone goal came in the second when Courtney Windt found the back of the net off a well-placed assist from Lyla Jolly. Windt was named Player of the Game for her effort.
 

The Boulder defense locked down in the second half and goalkeeper Katie Ryan made several key saves to keep the clean sheet.

Boulder heads to Cheyenne Mountain on October 2nd for a 5:00 PM matchup. Cheyenne Mountain, ranked 11th with a 4-5 record, promises to be a close contest for the Panthers.
