Boulder Cross Country Teams Win at NW Open Space 5k PR Challenge
Both the Boulder High School Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country teams earned victories at the NW Open Space 5k PR Challenge, hosted by Monarch High School, on a hot, calm afternoon.
Boys Varsity Results:

The Boulder boys secured first place with 21 points, finishing ahead of Broomfield and Monarch. Junior Toby Wong led the team, winning the race with a time of 16:06.2. The top five Boulder runners finished within the top 9 overall, showing their strength as a team:

The Boulder girls also took first place, finishing with 22 points. Freshman Calia Vaughn was the top finisher for the team, placing second overall with a time of 18:45.9. Boulder's top five girls all finished in the top 10:
