The Boulder Boys Tennis team faced a tough test on Wednesday, losing 6-1 to a talented Fairview squad at the Centennial Middle School courts. Despite some competitive matches, Boulder struggled to find their rhythm against their cross-town rivals.
Match Highlights:
At 1 Singles, Boulder's Andre Parham continued his impressive season, securing the team's only win with a dominant 6-0, 6-3 victory over Fairview's Adhrit Sundaresan. Parham's performance earned him Player of the Match honors for his standout effort.
However, Fairview took control in the remaining matches. At 2 Singles, Blake Curl fought hard but was defeated by Jake Boston 6-3, 6-4. In 3 Singles, Bruno Damrauer fell to Fairview's Charlie Gomulka 6-2, 6-1.
Boulder's doubles teams also faced strong opposition. At 1 Doubles, the pair of Patrick Harvey and Riley Kenny lost a tight first set in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-3) before Fairview's Ian Schwartz and Sam Rich pulled away to win 6-1 in the second set. The 4 Doubles match was also closely contested, with Boulder's Romain Dell'Era and Amitai Sebba dropping the first set in a tiebreak before taking the second set 6-1, only to fall in the third 6-0.
