The Boulder High School Boys Tennis team won its match against Centaurus High with a final score of 5-2. The Panthers won all three of its singles matches and split the doubles, with several key players making a significant impact.
In the singles matches, senior Andre Parham led the way with an impressive performance, defeating Centaurus's Zach Gablehouse in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. Fellow senior Blake Curl followed with a dominant showing, overpowering Julian Piccolini 6-0, 6-1. Junior Bruno Damrauer contributed to the team's success by winning his singles match 6-3, 6-3.
The doubles matches also featured strong performances from Boulder players. The first doubles team, junior Patrick Harvey and senior Riley Kenny, won their match 7-5, 6-3. The fourth doubles pair, sophomores Romain Dell'Era and Amitai Sebba, finished their match with a solid 6-1, 6-3 victory. Roman was named the Player of the Match by Coach Ryan Berman.
The second doubles team of sophomore Copper Fagean and senior Ian Everson fought hard in their match, narrowly losing the first set in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-5), before falling 6-2 in the second set. The third doubles team, consisting of sophomore Calvin Harvey and senior Dillan Horan, faced a tough challenge and were defeated 1-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Despite some setbacks in doubles, the Boulder High Boys Tennis team showcased their depth securing a 5-2 win against Centaurus.
