The Boulder High Varsity Field Hockey team played to a thrilling 1-1 tie against Poudre on October 15, improving their record to 5-5-2. In an intense away match, Boulder battled until the very end, and their persistence paid off when they earned a draw in dramatic fashion.
Poudre, currently 5-6-2, struck late in the fourth quarter to take a 1-0 lead, but the Panthers weren't done yet. After the clock expired, Boulder earned a penalty corner, giving them one last chance to equalize. Marley Farrior capitalized, scoring the game-tying goal off an assist from Lyla Jolly. The crowd erupted as Boulder forced overtime.
In overtime, both teams played 7v7 for 10 minutes, but neither side could find the back of the net, resulting in a hard-fought 1-1 tie.
Standout performances came from Player of the Game selections, Zadia Moolman and Marley Farrior, who both delivered when it mattered most.
