The Boulder High School Boys Golf team teed off its fall season on a hot summer afternoon at Indian Tree Golf Club in Arvada, facing Monarch, Denver East, and Ralston Valley in a four-team matchup. With temperatures soaring past 96 degrees and only a light breeze, conditions tested both stamina and focus. The course was in great shape, providing a solid stage for the season's first competition.

For Boulder, the emphasis was less on the scoreboard and more on gaining valuable experience for a young roster while welcoming several new faces to the lineup. Despite not placing in the team standings, the Panthers displayed flashes of strong shotmaking and on-course creativity.
Pierce Johnson led Boulder with a 74 (+4), earning a 4th-place finish overall. Senior Anton Taranda posted a steady 79 (+9), while junior Chase Rheingold impressed in his first-ever high school match, carding an 81 (+11). Sophomore Reid Cooper shot 86 (+16), and juniors Gabriel Kadonaga and MacLin Potter each finished at 88 (+18). Several other Panthers also gained valuable competitive reps, contributing to the team's depth and development.
