Boulder Panthers Secure 12-1 Win Over Mountain Range Mustangs Amid Scorching Heat
At Mountain Range High School, under the intense afternoon sun, the Boulder Varsity Panthers delivered a decisive 12-1 win against the Mountain Range Varsity Mustangs. Sophia Pereira led the offensive effort with three hits, including a home run, a double, and a single.
Early Innings
The Mustangs edged ahead early with a run in the first inning off a walk by Ramirez. The Panthers responded in the second inning, putting up six runs to lead 6-1. Olivia Hill's two-run double was the key hit in the inning, flipping the momentum in Boulder's favor.

The Panthers extended their lead in the third inning, adding four more runs. Hill contributed with a run on a fielder's choice, and Pereira capped the inning with a three-run homer to center field, putting the Panthers up for good.
