Joining Sevian on the First Team were David Bojorquez, Logan Coughlin, Aden Heath, and Mikel Mackey. Second Team honors went to Devan Lyons and Connor Sims, and Zac Sheinbaum, Grant Sims, Joaxin Castruita, and Santiago Martinez Garcia earned Honorable Mentions.
A Successful Season
Boulder finished the season with an impressive 17-1-1 record and was ranked second in Colorado 5A in the final MaxPreps rankings, just behind state champion Cherry Creek High School. The Panthers notably defeated Cherry Creek 2-0 during the regular season, handing them their only loss, highlighting their strength as a team.
Defensively, Boulder was a standout, allowing only four goals during the regular season, with two coming from penalty kicks. Their solid defense, combined with an effective and balanced offense, made them one of the most consistent teams in the league.
Team Contribution
Head coach Hardy Kalisher emphasized the team effort behind the individual awards. Kalisher was heard during the season saying often, "Everyone on this roster contributes to our success, whether it is in games or by pushing each other in practice."
The recognition of 11 players reflects the depth of the program and the hard work the entire team put in over the course of the season.
Looking Ahead
As the Panthers celebrate their achievements, they will also look to build on this year's success. With a strong foundation in place, Boulder High Boys Soccer aims to continue competing at a high level in the seasons to come.
Congratulations to the players and the entire Boulder High team on an excellent season and well-deserved recognition!
