The Boulder High Boys Soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to 13 games tonight, facing Riverdale Ridge in their fourth conference game at 6:30 PM. The Panthers, who lead Colorado 5A soccer in goals scored and are tied for the fewest goals allowed (just four—two of which came from penalties), looked to maintain their impressive form, and they didn't disappoint.
The starting 11 wasted no time, scoring the first goal just 39 seconds into the match and continuing to dominate. By halftime, Boulder had tallied eight goals without conceding any, mirroring their performance from Tuesday's game against Prairie View, where they also notched seven first-half goals.
Coach Kalisher rotated players early, giving several athletes valuable minutes towards the end of the first half. He kept the starters off the field in the second half, allowing more players to gain experience. Kiri Vermeer added Boulder's ninth goal midway through the second half, sealing a 9-0 victory. Senior goalkeeper Aden Heath, along with the Boulder defense, recorded yet another shutout.
