The Boulder High School girls golf team teed it up at the Erie Cocoa Classic on Tuesday at Lake Valley Golf Club. On a picture-perfect spring day, the Panthers took on a course known for its challenging layout.
Four golfers represented Boulder at the tournament. Junior Juliette Verson, seeded No. 2, finished with a score of 120 (+50). Senior Mekdes Bass, Boulder's No. 3 seed, completed her round at 134 (+64).
Senior Kate Thompson, seeded fourth, had a standout day, finishing with a 104 (+34). She recorded impressive pars on holes 16 and 17—two of the toughest on the course. Freshman Dylan Nonneman, competing as Boulder's No. 5 seed, posted a 117 (+47) and showed great poise, carding hard earned bogeys on the same holes late in her round.
All four golfers contributed to a strong team performance, enjoying the round and representing Boulder with pride and positivity.
Next up, the Panthers will head to The Ranch Country Club for the Willie DiLoreto Invite, hosted by Mountain Range High School on April 14.
