Boulder High's football team delivered a thrilling comeback win on Thursday night, edging Northglenn 17-14 in overtime at Christian Recht Field. Down 14-0 heading into the fourth quarter, the Panthers rallied late, capping the game with a 27-yard field goal from
Asher Baruch in overtime for their third straight victory—something they hadn't accomplished in four years.
Quarterback
Henry Sharpe was the catalyst for Boulder's dramatic turnaround. With less than 10 minutes to go in regulation, Sharpe connected with
Jack Neslage for a 20-yard touchdown on fourth-and-10, cutting the lead in half. Just a few minutes later, Sharpe turned a broken play into a 22-yard scramble for a touchdown, tying the game at 14-14 and swinging momentum firmly in Boulder's favor.

Northglenn (3-5, 1-2) had a chance to win it in regulation, setting up for a game-winning chip-shot field goal after a long run by Josiah'ez Stevenson. But Boulder's defense, which had been stout all game, came up huge with a block, sending the game into overtime.
In the extra period, Boulder's defense once again delivered, blocking Northglenn's field goal attempt. That set the stage for Baruch, whose game-winning field goal bounced off both the upright and crossbar before crossing through for the walk-off win.
With the win, Boulder improved to 4-4 overall and 3-0 in the conference. The Panthers now sit atop the league standings with two games left to play, including a showdown at Overland (4-4, 3-0) on October 25th that will have major playoff implications.
A thrilling comeback, a gritty defensive stand, and a clutch overtime finish—Boulder showed it all under the lights.
